Hello, my name is Jeremy Shick, I am a network manager at a mid-sized high school in central florida. Being in education, I have come to realize that challenges that today’s parents face while trying to protect their children. There is a wealth of information available on the internet but it is up to parents to be sure that their children are only accessing the safe stuff. Many of today’s parents have found that they lack the information necessary to adequately protect their children. This is where protectthechild.com comes in.
I am younger adult who has grown up immersed in technology. There were times as a teenager that I accessed information that my parents would have been highly upset about. But, they lacked the information necessary to protect me from myself. My goal is to use the knowledge that I now have to provide parents with practical step by step video guides on how to adequately protect their children. My goal, by the end of this, is to say that I have helped keep one child safe from predators, or simply themselves.
